When my husband Rob and I got engaged, we agreed immediately that we wanted to have a Tiffany Blue themed wedding. As we planned over the next ten months, we worked incredibly hard to make sure that everything matched-- we carried a Tiffany's ad or a Tiffany's box almost everywhere we went, just to make sure that everything from the bridesmaids dresses, to the ribbon around our flowers, to the gift boxes we put our favors in matched the famous color, synonymous with classic elegance.
I scoured message boards and websites, trying to find things that we could include & quickly found that everyone seems to have a different interpretation of "Tiffany Blue." I heard it referred to as Robin's Egg Blue and as Aqua-- Most colors I saw were way too blue... and a few were too green.
So, I'm putting together a post with the things that we found-- a true match to Tiffany Blue, and where to buy them. We took ideas from a handful of books, magazines, our wedding planner and some that we came up with on our own.
Everything came together beautifully, and our wedding day (October 4, 2008) was perfect... It was everything we wanted and more. :)
